About The Ark Farm

The Ark Open Farm is owned and operated by Stewart and Lorraine Donaldson. We opened the farm to the public on 14th August 1990,since then it has grown in size and in popularity.
Our main aim being the preservation of rare and endangered species of domestic animals. Set in forty acres of unspoiled countryside it is home to approximately two hundred animals of all kinds.Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Poultry, Goats, Donkeys, Llamas, Alpacas, Ponies, all so tame and friendly.
We also have lots of cute and cuddly rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs, pet lambs, kid goats, ponies to ride, you can get up close and have lots of interaction, supervised by our friendly helpful staff. The Ark Farm is unique, being the only one of it’s kind specializing in animals no longer seen in Northern Irelands fields and the only farm staying open all year round.
