Birthday parties at the farm cost £150

This includes:

  • Entry to the farm for you and your guests – up to 25 people (children & adults). Additional guests (up to 35 people total) are only £5 per person. If you wish to bring more than 35 people please contact us.
  • Use of the private birthday party room for 2 hours
  • Use of all farm facilities and play equipment
    • Please note: Quad Barrel Rides are an optional extra at £1 per barrel
  • Private animal handling session for you and your guests
  • Private animal feeding session for you and your guests

Birthday Party Catering

We can cater for you and your guests to make things easier for you, check out the options below:

Kids Meals:

  • Chicken nuggets, burger, sausages, or fish fingers served with chips and a drink – only £3.50 per child.
  • Sandwich with fruit sticks and a drink – only £3.50 per child.

Food for the grown-ups:

  • Sandwich and sausage roll platter, serves 10 adults – £25
  • Big bowl of chips – £5
  • Tea and coffee for up to 10 adults – £10

Birthday Party Bags

Take out the fuss of organising birthday parties with our farm themed party bags. Only £2.50 per bag

Party bags include:

  • Activity book and crayons
  • Stickers
  • Farm animal face mask
  • Mini spring
  • Tub of bubbles
  • Bag of sweets

Party bags are suitable for children aged 3 years and over

FAQs

What do we need to bring on the day? 

You are welcome to bring decorations for the party room such as tablecloths, balloons and banners. Banners can be attached by blue tac and we ask that balloons remain inside the party room as they can be dangerous and scare the animals. Table confetti and noise makers are not permitted.  
 
If you have ordered catering from us, kid’s meals will arrive in boxes with a carton of juice, adult catering will arrive with appropriate cutlery. Please bring additional napkins, cups etc if you are bringing additional foodstuffs such as juice and cake. The café team can lend a knife for a cake. We would recommend bringing a lighter or matches for birthday candles.  

When can we arrive and what time do we need to leave?  

You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes before your party begins to set up in the party room. The room may still be being cleaned down from the previous party at this point, but the farm team will stay out of your way as they finish up.  
 
The party room is available to you for the 2-hour timeslot, we ask that you remove all your belongings and vacate the room after this period as our team will need to set up for the next party. You are welcome to stay on at the farm after you vacate the room until we close at 5pm but you will no longer have access to the party room.  

What is the running order of the party? 

The running order usually follows the example below: 
 
10am – 12 Party Example: 
9:45: Party organisers arrival at the farm and access to party room. 
10:00: guests begin to arrive in admission building and are directed to party room to meet with party organisers. 
10:00 – 10:15: Farm guide meets party in the room and takes catering order if required. The guide will wait until your guests arrive before starting the tour. Please note: the guide may not be able to wait for all your guests if they are running late but they will be directed to catch up on arrival at the farm. If guests do arrive late, please advise your guide of additional catering requirements.  
10:15 – 11/11:15: Farmyard tour and animal handling session followed by handwashing. Please note that adult guests are required to accompany children on the tour to ensure safety.  
11:15 approx.: Return to party room. If you have ordered catering it will be brought to the party room for you at this time. 
12:00: Vacate party room. You are welcome to stay at the farm until we close at 5pm but will no longer have access to the party room. 

What is the party cancellation policy? 

If we need to cancel the party booking, your deposit will be returned in full.  
If you cancel the booking with 3 weeks or more from the date of the party your deposit will be returned minus a small transaction fee.  
If you cancel the booking with less than 3 weeks’ notice we are unable to return the deposit.

Upon booking we will ask for rough numbers of adults and children. Three days prior to your party we will be in touch to finalise numbers and ask for any dietary requirements your guests may have. The children’s catering order will be taken on the day of the party (as they tend to forget if asked in advance) however we do need to confirm the adult catering order in advance.  

Can we bring our own food? 

Yes, you’re more than welcome to bring your own food. The café team can heat up food in a microwave, they will be unable to heat food by other means or store food in fridges etc.  
Alcohol is not permitted.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?  

We can cater for most dietary requirements if informed in advance. The café uses nut products regularly, so we are unfortunately unable to cater for those with nut allergies. Please let us know of any dietary requirements 3 days in advance of your party.  

Can we make full use of the farm? 

Yes! After the tour and catering, birthday parties can make full use of all the facilities and play areas at the farm until closing.  Quad rides, tractor rides and jumping pillow are also available however cannot be privately hired by parties. We do ask that adults attending the party supervise children at all times.  

How do we book? 

Please fill out the booking request form in full and we will get back to you with current availability. Once a date and timeslot have been identified we will then send you a secure link for deposit payment, once this has been paid your party booking will be secured. We ask that deposit are paid within 5 working days of making the booking.
