Our Café has been re-imagined for 2025 with our delicious homemade, hearty food offering and a modern, cosy and welcoming interior. At peak times you can also enjoy our Horse Box coffee truck, and Ice Cream Hut at The Ark Farm.
We are proud of our homemade offering including hearty soups, stews and delicious sandwiches with the freshest local ingredients. Of course, we cater for children with more simple eating preferences like chicken nuggets, fish fingers and sausages too! Our traybakes are made on-site and we serve locally roasted coffee too!
Horse Box Coffee Truck and Ice Cream Hut are open on select weekends and days during our peak season.
We are proud to serve multi-award winning local coffee roasters Pure Roast Coffee in our Café.
We serve a variety of coffees including lattes, flat whites, americanos & even iced coffee in summer. Pure Roast coffee are also a family-owned business and they are the only coffee roaster in Northern Ireland to achieve a BRC AA food standard accreditation – the highest quality standard achievable.
We want everyone to feel welcome at our café, and we’ll always do our best to support you or your child’s dietary needs. We stock alternative options including oat milk and a selection of ‘free-from’ menu items to cater to different dietary requirements including allergens and intolerances.
Because many of our food items are freshly made in-house daily, we can often confirm the ingredients used with the chef (albeit created in a regularly cleaned environment that may contain the item). If you or your child have an allergy, please let us know. We empathise with the situation and will do our best to accommodate your needs in a warm and welcoming way.
Of course, if you’d feel more comfortable bringing your own food, you’re very welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy at The Ark Farm.
Other helpful allergy information
Feel free to ask for allergy friendly animal feed at our shop (where you entered the farm today) as we can give an alternative to our normal food pellets for the animals. We always aim to have allergen friendly alternatives at our events too such as dairy free chocolate egg alternatives at Easter, vegan Marshmallows at Halloween and ‘free from’ gingerbread at our Christmas event. Never be afraid to ask as we will always try to support you!
